On Monday, August 11, 2025, King Abdulaziz University launched a package of new digital systems aimed at improving operational efficiency by streamlining academic and administrative procedures and providing a secure digital environment for all university affiliates. The launch took place at the University President’s Office.

During the inauguration, the President of the University, Dr. Tarif bin Yousef Al-Ama, received a detailed briefing from Prof. Naif Al-Juhani, General Supervisor of the University’s Technology System, on the new systems, which focus on three main areas:

  1. Unified Access System for University Digital Platforms: This system allows users to access all university digital platforms through a single, unified interface, featuring a modern, flexible design that supports customization and quick search, along with a dark mode for user comfort.

  2. Alerts and Notifications System: This system provides an effective communication channel between administrators and users, enabling administrators to send instant notifications about updates, completed transactions, or any other important information, ensuring timely delivery of essential information.

  3. Two-Factor Authentication System: As a step toward enhancing digital security and protecting user data, this system requires an additional verification code via apps such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator upon login, preventing unauthorized access.

The launch also included the Talent Request System, designed to improve human resource management and meet academic and research needs through the University’s Research and Consulting Institute.

These new systems form a central pillar of the university’s strategy to achieve “smart solutions and tangible results,” positively impacting institutional performance, streamlining procedures, and providing a secure, reliable digital environment aligned with the requirements of digital transformation.
